Three structural advantages, not three marketing claims.

We do not compete on server speed or dashboard colour. We compete on biology, on the database, and on actionability.

01

Proprietary

Patent UA 128 456 C2 granted and PCT application WO 2025/082614 A1 published. A proprietary database of more than 22,000 Mediterranean profiles.

02

Mediterranean

Models trained on calcareous southern-European soils. Not American technology repurposed — technology born in the Mediterranean, for the Mediterranean.

03

Actionable

We do not deliver descriptive reports. We deliver a plan: what to inoculate, when, at what dose, and what outcome to expect.

The problem

Models calibrated for northern soils do not work in the Mediterranean.

The calcareous soils of the Mediterranean arc — vineyards, olive groves, and horticultural crops — have a microbiology distinct from those of Iowa or Bavaria. When a winegrower in Alentejo or an olive farmer in the Peloponnese applies recommendations drawn from northern-European or American Midwestern databases, the plan rarely holds. The quality of an agronomic decision depends on the quality of the microbial data and, above all, on its geographic origin.

"What we needed wasn't another descriptive report. It was a plan that accounted for our soil, not for soil from another continent."

How it works

From field to action plan in five working days.

Frequently asked questions

What customers usually ask before sending their first sample.

My soil is very specific — will it work for my crop?

Our database is calibrated on 22,000 soil profiles from the Mediterranean arc, including vineyards, olive groves, and horticultural crops. If your operation is in Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece, or southern France, our models are trained for your conditions.

How long does the first analysis take?

Five working days from sample arrival at the partner lab. Sample collection in the field and shipping add one to two additional days.

How reliable are the recommendations?

BiomaML models reach over 90% correlation with observed field productivity. Recommendations have been validated on real commercial holdings with reproducible outcomes (−22 to −28% on fertilisers, +12 to +18% on yield).

Do I need cold-chain shipping?

No. The BiomaKit includes a proprietary buffer that stabilises microbial DNA for 14 days at room temperature. Standard courier shipping is enough.

Is this patent-protected?

Yes. The biomarker and method are covered by patent UA 128 456 C2 (granted) and PCT international application WO 2025/082614 A1 (published). European phase EP 25712944.7 is in substantive examination.

Do you work with cooperatives?

Yes. The Enterprise plan is designed specifically for cooperatives and large distributors. Adega Cooperativa do Douro, with 327 producer-members, has been a customer since 2024.

Start with one sample.

Send us a single sample from your field. In five days you will have a full report and a concrete action plan. No subscription required.
